Melvin testimonial on Impact of Sanitary Pad project.

Melvin Aseka is an 11 year old girl who comes from a humble background and she lives with her mum within Ngando ward in Dagoretti south constituency. Being raised by a single mum it hasn’t been a walk in the park most notably due to the fact that her mum has to do manual jobs like washing clothes for other people just to make ends meet.
Melvin’s performance at school however was being affected due to lack of essential needs especially sanitary towels. Such obstacles motivated the formation of Oasis Care Point Community Based Organization(CBO) to fill this gap within Ngando community.
“Am really thankful for this sanitary pad program for helping me grow in confidence as i relates with my peers and also boosting my self-esteem in school due to the fact that i no longer have to worry about having sanitary towels when i need them. May God bless Oasis Carepoint as you continue to impact our community positively” Melvin said.
